I lacked inspiration for a couple days, but now it's time to start pulling all these weird things together into weird Christmas adventures. This is a small-scale hexcrawl adventure for around 3rd-5th levels, with options for nonviolent resolution. Map is coming tomorrow!

What are you doing sir, there is nary a pear in sight (JJ Harrison, CC BY-SA 3.0, via Wikimedia Commons) |
Holly the Druid lives in her orchard with 12 Awakened Pear Trees and her pet partridge Perry (1d4). She has lost her birds, and if you bring them all back to her, she will create the Spear of Baldr for you.
She will give you a potion of healing for the first of each type you
bring back. If you bring her all of a particular type, she will give you a potion of cold resistance, and for bringing her one of each type, she will give access to her spell book, which contains ice cube, flash freeze, and speak with animals, as well as the spells in her stat block. She will also make you
hot cocoa
any time you visit her.
Two Turtle Doves (Caravaggio and Gentileschi) are hiding in their shells, hounded by irate Gingerbread Men, who are upset because the turtle doves ate crumbs off the Gingerbread King's face. The gingerbread people are having a good time bonking the turtle dove's shells and keeping them scared, and won't let them go without some way to restore the king's dignity.
Three French Hens (Celine, Chloe, and Gertrude) have taken up swords as Musketeers and face off against the Nutcracker armies of the ten Leaping Lords. Their situation is hopeless, but their code of chivalry demands they fight to the last, unless they can be convinced they have some greater duty elsewhere, or if they somehow win the battle.
Four Calling Birds (1d4) (Morse, Graham, Marconi, and Cooper) have been taken by the Misfit Toys to use as sacrifices. They intend to summon Krampus. One bird will be sacrificed each day at midnight, and Krampus will be summoned if three of them succeed. The Misfit Toys are hurt and sad, and want Krampus to take revenge on the naughty children who rejected them. Calling birds can communicate with each other at a distance of 2 hexes (6 miles), in the secret language of birds.
Six Geese (Acheron, Styx, Lethe, Cocytus, Phlegethon, and Mnemosyne) are terrorizing a peaceful village of Elves. They are violent and hateful beasts who will resist any attempt to capture them, will outsmart attempts to trap them, and will humiliate and kill you out of spite. Even Krampus stays away from these guys. The elves are magical toymakers, and can enchant or curse items with 1 day of work.
Seven Swans (1d8) (Phelps, Lochte, Ledecky, Nyad, Dressel, Franklin, and Titmus) are scattered among the Icy Pools of Abubléeth, kept by his eight Milkmaid thralls. The milkmaids spend most of their time massaging the slimy mass of their icy master, and luring in new thralls with their rustic charms.
In the forest live the Sugar-Plum Fairies in their eternal reverie. Nine Ladies (1d6) from nearby villages have been swept up in the dancing; they have been there for times ranging from 6 months and 350 years. The fairies guard a ring of many colors, a prized possession of their Queen.
The mountain is inhabited by Yeti, who love having guests
over for lunch.
